"Knitting and crocheting has been my hobby since childhood. I started making stuffed toys for children hospitals several years ago. It has become a passion, I absolutely love making them. My “Critters” are a nice cuddly, hug-gable, lovable size for the children. And what’s truly amazing is how much pure pleasure a person can receive by creating them."
My patterns are written so that they are easy to follow, and include photos and instructions to help you. If you haven’t tried making a toy using the knitting in the round method, give it a try, your in for a very pleasant surprise! If you have a question contact me at bjfromnv@gmail.com

Where is my hammer?

Did you ever fool around with something until you reached the point where you just want to get a hammer and fix it? I posted on my blog yesterday after almost 4 months, and discovered that since I had upped my security on my email address, no matter what I did I could not use this application! I have uninstalled, reinstalled, used restore a couple of times……………..you just can’t imagine where this little journey took me. I am not a person who cusses on a regular basis, but I could just scream right now!!!!!

I will just close this lovely little note, and say I LOVE COMPUTERS, but some days………………..you better keep that hammer away from me. Hope your day was better than mine! ROFL……………

Where have u been?

Been a long time. So many things have happened since I last wrote in this blog. Some good, some bad. But that’s life right? Anyway, I was just about to go out on line and start looking around for some afghan patterns. Got a buddy who has worn out his last one and needs a new one. Also needs a bigger one, since his better half keeps pulling his off and taking it to her side of the bed. Just spent a couple of days down in Nevada, didn’t get to go to the Pow Wow this year. So one nice thing about going down this time of year it was a heck of a lot cooler! My old home town in Nevada hasn’t grown much, but I was glad to see a couple of new stores that will save the people there a lot of money. Plus give them a little variety. That was always the worst thing about that town, was the shopping was the pitts! We got back just before the snow started, so maybe we will travel just a week earlier next year. Glad to be kicking and back on my feet again, did some major damage to my left knee and was down and out for over 3 months! It just never fails to amaze me how you can be just fine one day. And the next………………..you can’t walk? Dam…………Don’t want to bother going in to the details, but I am just about as good as new…or should I say old? Anyway…………..I am so very grateful……….. My pup Stella got her stitches out this am, and she is now a proud member of the 3rd sex………………….spayed! Yeah!
She is one awesome little lady, and I love her dearly. She is very friendly and loves everyone! And almost completely house trained. Smart as a whip, and funny as hell! This dog is such a character, she just makes you laugh~and laughter is the best medicine my friends. So I hope you have been busy creating since my last blog. I did just finish a lace scarf and have already given it away. I don’t plan on being so industrious this year………..a few scarves, and a couple hats, and a couple of afghans will keep me busy til the end of the year. And of course some toys for the kids!!!! So …………………WHAT’S ON YOUR NEEDLES???
