"Knitting and crocheting has been my hobby since childhood. I started making stuffed toys for children hospitals several years ago. It has become a passion, I absolutely love making them. My “Critters” are a nice cuddly, hug-gable, lovable size for the children. And what’s truly amazing is how much pure pleasure a person can receive by creating them."
My patterns are written so that they are easy to follow, and include photos and instructions to help you. If you haven’t tried making a toy using the knitting in the round method, give it a try, your in for a very pleasant surprise! If you have a question contact me at bjfromnv@gmail.com

Okay…….where was I?

Alright, are you impressed two blogs in two days? Unheard of………Life does get in the way sometimes, and I have to admit I can’t seem to see any kind of pattern as to when I tend to blog. But with summer coming on strong now, which is my favorite time of the year. I will be surprised if you see much blogging from me.

Memorial day is coming up this week-end. I sometimes wonder about some of our American holidays, some are kind of………….well what can I say?

Anything for a 3 days week-end, but back in the day everyone worked, now it seems like everyone is on the dole………………….? Just my opinion, and that’s the way I see it. Instead of the ugly American, I’m sure we are now referred to as the lazy American. No Joke!

Enough of that………I want to show you my latest projects!

This is Veronica, named after the baby that these gifts were made for. Part of the reason I love making the toys, is the fact that they can be made absolutely any color your heart desires. I need to look up the pattern link for this blanket, it is knitted and you use double strand yarn, so it grows fast and it’s very soft!

It’s called Chevron Baby Blanket by Purl Soho…………..here is the link on Ravelry, it’s a free pattern.

For more information, see: http://www.purlbee.com/chevron-baby-blanket/

Well I’m gonna hang it up for now, hope you had a great day. Thursday is mow day for us, I usually mow for about 3 hours, but our place looks so pretty when I get done, it’s really worth it! Take care…………….be good.

Has it been one of those days???

Just a few lines to report in, hope you are doing good and that life is treating you well. Got back from walking with Stella this morning, and I had a few things in mind to do on the puter. First was to do some blogging.

And this is how it started, I recently added a couple of patterns to Craftsy and I put Ollie O Owl on there as he is one of my free patterns. And just about everyday I see that more people have gotten the pattern, they call it a sale, but since I am giving it away? Anyway, it occurred to me that perhaps someone who got Ollie’s pattern would like more access to some of my other patterns. As I only have 3 other patterns on the Craftsy site.

So I looked at the pattern and realized my blog address was not on there as well as my email address, I do like to offer help to anyone who is making one of my patterns. Anyway, I had made the adjustments in the pattern, and I tried out the URL addy for my blog spot…………………..well that’s where it was all down hill from there………………..ROFL!

The blog page came up alright, but half of the pics were gone and replaced with a white circle and a line it. This is a very important link because it helped me to restore my pics……https://support.google.com/plus/answer/2395305?hl=en

What I had done was deleted a bunch of pics on my iphone a couple of weeks ago, they were from my blog album, but I thought at the time why are they on my phone? And how much room are they taking? So it must have taken me 30 minutes to delete them. Thankfully with a lot of help and advice from the web and changing my privacy settings to public. They are all back. I hope you don’t ever do this, but from what I read today, a lot of people have done the same thing.

this is another great link for picasa because your blog pics are stored there also. I had gone into my google page, and put everything to public. But it was only after going to the picasa page that they got restored. And this is the link you don’t want to lose…………..https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/myphotos

So I wish you all the luck in the world………….hopefully you won’t need it! I will be back manana? I said it………..it must be so!!!!
